In a nutshell, Lynette is an honest and committed girl. In or off stage she keeps a polite smile on her face. She is a good partner for a casual chat and can be a good listener. When she is not performing, it’s easy to forget about her, seeing how common and boring her personality seems to be. However for those who dedicate some time to know her better will see that she is not exactly what she seems to be in the first glance.

Just like a little kid, every little thing fascinates her. She is prone to believing in almost everything it’s said to her, making her an ideal target for teasing (but if you tease her, she will tease back, she loves to play tricks). However, she can be unexpectedly clever sometimes knowing when someone wants to tease or manipulate her with malicious intent.

Other remarkable trait about Lynette, is how impulsive she can be. Her heart most of the time is in the right place, but she does not think twice before making a decisions. She act on instinct and not with logic. Lynette can be very persistent about her decisions, which can be both a good or a bad thing.

She is very patient, dealing with crazy and nonsense behavior. However once truly fed up, she acts like an angry mother, yelling and even giving painful pinches in the cheeks. Lynette has a lot of pride in her abilities, no criticism can hurt her. However, when it comes to her background things can be different. She does not wish to hide her origins but she is at the same time a bit ashamed of it. An ill comment about it and she will take it to the heart, feeling unworthy, and eventually can get depressed. 

♥ H i s t o r y :

• Her mother wanted her to marry, but Lynette was terrified of that idea and ran away from home.
• She turned back to her dreams and decided to search for Cirque des Rêves.

Lynette origins were not nearly exciting as she wish it was. The girl was born in France, her family was very humble yet very big. Her father worked with wood, making all kinds of things, chairs, wooden accessories and so on, although he was skilled, in a family of seven there was barely any money left for luxury. She didn’t even her own bed, having to share it with her sister.  Being the older daughter Lynette had many chores in the house and she had always hated it.

When she was young, the girl used to ran off somewhere, fleeing from her duties and being a trouble maker. Lynette always liked adventures, a strange fondness of the unknown. Instead of playing with dolls, she preferred to spend time listening to the old weird lady in the neighborhood that she believed was a witch.  She loved to watch streets performances where ever she could. One day one in particular caught her attention. A man playing with what appeared to be a big yoyo. It was so pretty and seemed so fun, Lynette could not simply avert her gaze from it. She still not remember how exactly she managed to convince the performer to teach her, sometimes she has the impression she begged for days, other because she offer something in return, but never the less, as long as the performer stayed in her city, she learned a few tricks from him. Also along with the lessons, the man always told her stories about his travels. The one she likes the most was about a mysterious circus he found, that could make any dream come true. She dreamed of finding this place ever since.

Years passed and she could not stay a child forever. Her family really needed her help. She didn’t have time to run free or even make friends. Her family became her priority and with that she had to abandon all her dreams. The only thing that she could not leave behind was her diabolo, a gift from her teacher. Wherever she found time she practiced her skills with passion. After all, that was the only thing that reminded her of her innocent dreams.

Lynette lived a pretty boring life, and it seemed that the only way to escape this monotony was if something changed dramatically. Which it did…but not in the way she expected. In the spring of her 17 years, Lynette’s father perished. It started with a normal cold, a silly sickness. Then it got worse, and suddenly he was dead. Lynette never imagined that her father, stubborn as he was would die.  Heck, now her world was upside down. Her family was not only grieving for their lost, but also facing a financial crisis. Her brother would have to take his father place in the shop, and her mother was working nonstop and even so earing very little money. She could easily tell that sooner of latter her mom would suggest an arranged marriage for her. However the thought of getting tied down with a total stranger scared her to no end. In her heart she knew that she would be unhappy. She had always done what was better for the family, but she could not sacrifice her life for them anymore. So in a whim, Lynnette decided to leave home. Although it pains her to leave her family she also had a great desire to travel around the world. Better yet to find that circus... She wrote a farewell letter to her family, promising to send money to help.

Then her journey started. At first Lynette was lost, she felt  lonely most of the time but never regretted her decision. It was a very long year, maybe even the toughest of her life, but it was worth it. One day she happened to find the circus she was searching for, the one that made her belive she could dream again. She become enchanted by the everything she saw there, and wanted to become a part of it. Soon after the shows were over Lynette asked for a chance to perform, to show that she was worth of being working there. And then a new chapter of her life began...at Cirque des rêves.

Mother : Annabelle (39) - Clever but frail, Lynette always felt like she had to protect her mother. 
Father: Charles (deceased) (50) - Person she respected the most and loved him very dearly.  
Older Brother: David (21) - Liked to boss Lynette around, they were always arguing, however he also helped Lynette with her chores. 
Younger Sister: Irène (15) - Pretty little sister, but also very naive, Lynette was overprotective about her.
Younger Brother: Jean (8) - One of the twins, very hyper and loud, as the older sister Lynette had spent much time taking care of them. 
Younger Sister: Jessica (8) - Other twin, extremely shy and quick to cry, as the older sister Lynette had spent much time taking care of them. 

♥ - R e l a t i o n s h i p s : 

Sol  [fav.me/d7vrb00 ] : Lynette's boyfriend. One of the first person she meet on the circus, her gentle giant. She loves him dearly even if he is not human. 

♥ M I S C/O t h e r I n f o r m a t i o n:

- Her special item is a flower crown, the very first gift she received in the circus and never the less form a very important person. Although it started to dry, she keeps it safe in a wodden box she brought from home. 
- Lynnette is fond of animals, except dogs. She doesn't hate them, she's only terrified of them. When she was a little child, she was chased by a Great Dane half of a day. Now every time she sees one she wants to keep distance, fiercely believing that dogs hate her. If she must come too near one she starts shaking lightly. 
- She doesn't like to shake hands, not because she doesn't like touching people, she is very embarrassed to show her hands. Due to her training her hands are full of callus. 
- She has a disastrous bed hair every morning, it get worse if the humidity is high.
- Has a habit of speaking “Ya” or “Yer” instead of “You” and “Your”.
